Introduction

Kirkpatrick’s broader point was methodological rather than sensational. AARO’s task is not simply to decide whether an object is “strange”; it is to determine whether available evidence supports an identifiable explanation or demonstrates genuinely anomalous characteristics. What Data Would Be Needed to Resolve the Case

The Middle East orb remains unresolved largely because the publicly available evidence is too limited to support confident measurement. Investigators would need a much richer data package to close the case conclusively.
